Section Title

This is a Paragraph. Click on "Edit Text" or double click on the text box to start editing the content and make sure to add any relevant details or information that you want to share with your visitors.

Terms of Agreement

  • I will walk the dog(s) on the agreed upon days at the agreed upon time for the agreed duration as part of their agreed upon plan.

  • Dogs will be walked from their home address unless part of a group walk which requires the collection of other dogs which will be communicated to the service users prior to agreeing to a contract or unless walking from the home address is unsuitable and the dogs must be transported to a suitable walking location which will also be communicated prior to agreeing to a contract.

  • Dogs will be walked in line with the service they are prescribed to. No additional dogs will be included in the solo dog walk. When walking dogs as part of a group walk I shall communicate to the owners when I am matching their dog(s) with others to ensure that this is suitable.

  • The booked time starts from when I arrive at your address. Each walk will be 5 minutes less than the allotted booking slot to allow for rub down, stroke and comfort, topping up of water and food if necessary to help settle your dog(s) back into the home.

  • You will ensure that I am given suitable ability to be able to access your property in order to collect your dog(s) from the agreed address at the agreed times on the agreed upon dates.

  • When returning your dog(s) to your home following their walk, the key provided to access your home will be returned to the location it was collected from, unless otherwise specified by yourself or a key (or other means of access) has been provided to me to keep for repeated regular use.

  • I will use the key (or other means of access) provided to collect and return your dog(s) and for no other purpose. Keys (or other means of access) provided for me to keep and use as part of regular planned visits will be kept confidential and secure at all times. Keys (or other means of access) will be returned to you on demand and record of entry codes destroyed.

  • I shall make every effort to arrive at the agreed upon time, but please allow an additional 30 minutes to account for difficult road conditions and/or unforeseen circumstances.

  • Adverse weather conditions can seriously delay or hamper service provision, yet I shall endeavour to operate as normal in all conditions provided that this does not negatively impact your dog(s)

  • In the event of serious weather conditions, such as extreme temperatures, severe downpours or flooding, I retain the right to shorten or cancel walks to preserve the health and/or safety of both myself and your dog(s). Where I am unable to walk your dog(s) outdoors due to unsuitable weather I shall socialise and exercise them in your own home/garden unless otherwise specified.

  • You, the owner of the dog(s), must inform myself if yourself or or any other individuals are to be present at the property during pick up and/or drop off before the session.

Relationship and responsibilities

  • You will supply suitable collars or harnesses and lead with which to walk your dog(s) along with any coats or other accessories you wish them to wear. I reserve the right to refuse to walk your dog(s) if suitable (safe and secure) collar or harness and lead are not provided. Payment in full will be required as though that walk had taken place.

  • I can provide split lead to walk the dogs upon prior agreement with you and provided that the leads are strong enough/correctly sized to control your dog.

  • You will fully inform me of your dog(s) characteristics which need to be known for the safe handling and general care of both your dog(s) and anyone they my meet while in public; this includes, aggression, health issues, sudden personality changes, recent incidents or likes and dislikes around environments and interactions. This extends to consulting third parties, such as veterinarians or animal professionals, about behavioural issues. This information will also need to be updated with myself as and when any new occurrences arise.

  • You will inform me of any and all incidents or anything untoward, about your dog(s) behaviour, health, or incidents involving other animals or people.

  • When walking your dog(s) they will be kept on a lead at all times.

  • I retain the right to shorten or cancel a walk should your dog’s behaviour become worrisome, aggressive, agitated, unruly, or poses a health risk to themselves, myself or others they may interact with. Full payment will still be required.

  • I shall not be obliged to perform any other duties except those agreed. Thus, should your dog(s), for example but not limited to, create a domestic disturbance, become aggressive or cause destruction of property, I am not obliged to rectify the situation; it is left to my discretion and time constraints. Should I set about rectifying a situation, the time will be deducted from the booking slot, and if it goes beyond the agreed booking slot, an additional charge will be payable commensurate with the dog walking fees.

  • While walking your dog(s) I will remove their faeces from public and dispose of it safely, to thus abide by the law and also public health considerations.

Liability

  • You are required to accept full liability for any loss or damage caused by your dog(s) whilst being walked or cared for. This includes injury to, and death of the dog(s) which was not caused by any negligent behaviour on my part.
